 Evergreen ShareHaven is a Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF) with 24-hour resident
assistant staffing. It is
designed for those who experience symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease
and other dementia, do not need skilled nursing care, are able to walk without staff assistance,
and have a designated legal decision-maker.
This one-story home in a residential neighborhood is directly
across the street from the Evergreen Manor Building and provides a
quiet environment with minimal disruptions. Twenty private
accommodations and a specially designed floor plan enable residents
to easily find their way.
 ShareHaven is a
monitored environment with an inviting, fenced-in back yard
featuring walkways, raised gardens, and patio swings and furniture.
ShareHaven recently was awarded a grant from the Ladies
Benevolent Society: Advocates for Older Adults, for the
purchase of a NuStep Recumbant Cross Trainer and a Medline Platform
Scale. These pieces of equipment will provide greater comfort
and safety for ShareHaven residents both during exercise and while
monitoring weight.

Stay Fit
Evergreen Creekview Center located in the main building
across the street from ShareHaven houses the Aquatic and Fitness Centers
and the Aerobic Studio. These facilities are available for use by ShareHaven residents as their abilities allow.
- The Elizabeth
J. Rasmussen Fitness Center contains specially
designed strength and cardiovascular
equipment.
Personalized fitness programs and group fitness
classes are offered.
- The Aquatic Center offers open swim and group swim classes in the two therapeutic
pools. The John J. and Ethel D. Keller Pool offer opportunities for lap
swimming and aerobic conditioning. The Prescott Family Pool warmer water allows
for more gentle exercise. Both pools are cleansed with the newest cutting-edge
ultraviolet technology. An overhead lift serving is available for
those unable to use the ramp or steps to enter the pools. Unique individual unisex changing rooms offer
the privacy of a complete bath with no-step showers and adequate space for
assistance.
- The Aerobic Studio affords opportunities for strength and balance training and specialized
arthritis classes. Its special shock-absorbent flooring offers support for joints during high and low impact
aerobics.
- The Evergreen Therapy Services include physical, occupational, and speech therapies along with other
restorative programs.

twin-sized sheets, blankets and bedspread if desired; routine supplies and personal hygiene items
