Capital Campaign

$3 Million Update:

Cumulative total on April 12, 2017: $3,013,011

Giving Supports Campus and Foundation Growth

Having its start in 2011 with a feasibility study determining a $3 million goal, as of May 2016 our Building Community Campaign has received from 260 donors a total of $2,405,276 from cash, pledges, planned estate gifts and bequests. Like the Master Site Plan campus-wide renovations historically upgrading every area of the campus, the Building Community Campaign income includes $1 million from the 4th and 6th largest bequests in Evergreen history. With great appreciation for our long-time Evergreen friends, generous supporters and donors of these two bequests, the new library will be named the Thomas E. Neta Memorial Library and the Commons the Charles R. Behnke Community Center.

Donations to the campaign help ease the financial stretch of our campus-wide renovations as well as help grow the Evergreen Foundation endowment. We are overwhelmed and deeply grateful for the many donors who have already supported the Building Community Campaign. Our hope and trust rest in the continued generosity of Evergreen residents, family, staff and friends who will be moved to support our continued campaign efforts.

The Building Community Campaign has a two-fold purpose:

     1. Transform the Evergreen Campus to Broaden our Community
     2. Grow the Evergreen Foundation to Build our Endowment
